Kubota BX24
My BX24 will be losing her home tomorrow. I've stored her under my deck which is coming own while I finish siding the house and plan on a new, bigger(wife's idea) deck. I know they sell these little tractor covers, but has anyone seen or made a custom cover for a small TLB?

Sorry, no ideas but I do know that blue tarps do not protect against UV rays and things underneath them will fade.

For real? Kubota doesn't make anything? I thought I saw a picture that had a cover on it. Just looked at it wasn't there. I'll call the dealership later.

I use a big plastic tarp I got from HD....it covers everything but the ROPS FEL Bucket and BH....

Its been raining for two days and my poor BX24 is sitting out in the yard where I left it....:( such a bad daddy lol

I used a blue poly tarp, I think it was 10x20, maybe 10x24. Covers well, but doesn't last. I saw a small 10x14 arrow steel storage shed Item #: 92737 at Lowes for under $500. Door opening is 4'7". I was thinking of backing in then swing the backhoe to one side and the BX24 should fit. Can't do it with the 60" deck. Should last longer than those polytarp sheds.

How about one of those portable garages? They start at around 200 bucks or so. More convenient than any tarp or cover.

I have a few covers and tarps on my boats, and they're a PITA to use. You have to heap them on the grass, which causes all manner of bugs and slugs to crawl up into them, they catch rainwater if you leave them out, and both sides end up getting dirty...

Still better than nothing, but...

Yeah, I saw the picture of the BX cover on the accessories pages awhile ago, but they only made covers for the BX2350's and such, the machines without the backhoe...

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I figured I'd try again before the weather turns.

BX24 cover?

I'm in the same situation as you, I'm also looking for a cover for the BX24 (no large shed or garage yet). I do have a small overhang that is about 10' long but it will not cover the entire tractor with the BH installed. Not sure if this will help you or not but what I do is remove my BH (using my new BXpanded back hoe dolly) and cover it with a motorcycle cover that I bought at Wally World. The cover was only $20 and it fits really well. If I leave the back hoe on the tractor, I park the tractor with the back hoe end sticking out and place the motorcycle cover around the hoe. I then bungy cord the cover to the tractor.

I would go to a shop that makes boat covers and get one custom made. Will be pricey, but worth it. After fighting with a tarp on my log splitter I had a custom cover made and I really like it. It fits like a glove and I don't even have to tie it down in the wind.
