Has anyone had any experience with an LMC clipper 400? It looks like a good match for my tractor without FEL as ballast.

WAYNE'S TRAIN, I BOUGHT THIS SAME CLIPPER THIS PAST WEEKEND FOR MY BX 2660 AND IT WORKS GREAT. I TURNED THE PINS IN SO LIFT ARMS WEREN'T SPREAD SO WIDE. TRACTOR HANDLES THE WEIGHT OF CUTTER FINE.

Congrats on the new cutter. Good to hear it's working out. I've got a 54" mmm now and it works great but I'm lining up some large lawn and pasture work for this season so I've got to get a brush cutter. I cut a 2 acre pasture grass lot with it. The grass was 2-3 feet or more. It took 4 passes to get it down to lawn level. Is the 2660 about the same size as a BX 24? Thanks for the reply. Any pics?

The LMC website says this one is for grass only. Does that mean you can't take out light brush or small saplings? A dealer told me that the 400 has an italian gear box that is better/stronger than the ones LMC uses on the bigger models.
