My brake pedal on my BX24 no longer springs back up on its own when I release it, so I've been manually pulling it up. Yesterday I decided to look at it, will confess that I never previously noticed the brake pedal adjustment step for the "every 100 hours" service. So, I'd never touched it before, and I have about 1,000 hours on the tractor. If it's no longer springing back up, is this likely to be something that can be fixed by adjusting, or is it more likely that the spring has just worn out?

It might not be the spring. It might be something else inside of the transmission. First look at the spring and report back.

Well, the spring it present and seems to be springy! I assumed the brakes were a mechanical system that physically stopped the rear axle, but you're saying that it's actually something integral in the HST?

Well, it does, but it's inside of the HST.
