I've stuffed every thing that will fit through the hole.It chips it. its a regulated self feeder. in the event you have something extremely hard or are operating on dull blades there is a release you can engage to unload the chipper should the tractor bog down. keep i n mind this is rare. the chipper uses a very heavy fly Wheel and it really takes alot to bog down the momentum.
