That's right I'm back! Dealer says should be delivered tomorrow! Pin on 344 FEL, standard MMM deck, turf tires. Primary duties will be mowing and light landscaping my 1 acre. Sold my B2920 TBL, owned it for 4 years and it never failed me.

The B2920 obliterated the blackberries and many a tree stump but was too large for mowing and light landscaping so I down sized to the BX. But went up in truck size, 2017 F350 Diesel 4x4 440hp 925 ft lbs torque oh baby!

Goodness....Like....so you downsized (bought too much tractor) and that doesn't happen often...Tell me about this beast of a truck? Is it one of the $70K models? I see it there in your pic....looks sweet.

MSRP was north of $74k, fully loaded Lariat with nearly every option. The power is immense she will break the rear tires loose doing 40mph. Not a 2 inch receiver hitch, not a 2.5 inch receiver hitch, but a full 3 inch square receiver hitch lol.

Sounds like my 2017. I have the High Capacity Tow Package with the 3" receiver, too. Looks boss. On diesel Super Duty #10 in 18 years, and this 2017 is the best. While my 2016 F150 EcoBoost would hand this 6.7L it's lunch, it was too car-like for me... for now.

Looking at a BX2680 now. After cleaning the drive this week, and heading out in 5 to take care of the last 5" the weatherman couldn't predict, I'm done with playing with the FEL blade. By next season, it'll be either the front frame QA blade for my BX2670, or trading the complete outfit with rear blower for a BX2680.

Great minds think alike, Super Duty. How many compliments do you get on your truck? I get lots of gawkers and compliments on mine.

Back to Kubota why pay an extra $1421 for the 2680 vs the 2380? The tractors are exactly the same, all you get is 2.5 more rated HP and 1.8 hp at the PTO. This is from the guy who stepped all the way up to the 29hp B tractor last time. I could have gone with the 26hp or the 23hp but opted for the 29hp thinking I should get the most hp available. It wasn't needed, these diesels have a lot of grunt. I only ever once stalled my B2920 when I hooked a box blade tooth under a tree root. Most of the time you will lose traction before you can stall these things. The extra hp doesn't give you any more lift on the FEL or more power on the BH. Mower forget about it my B2920 even in very tall grass it didn't even slow the RPM. Tiller I had to throttle that thing back anyway. Just a sanity check is all I'm saying. I asked my dealer about the 2680, large dealer they must have 30 2380's on the lot ready for sale. He said they don't even order them in anymore and can't remember when someone last purchased one.

I just responded to the post on Sparky wanting an old BX1500. My problem is the single hydro pump on the BX that won't even move the FEL at an idle. My brain says 25.5hp does things easier and with less strain than the 23 or 18hp models. While the hydro pump MAY be the same on the 23 and 25.5hp models, I think the 25.5hp has just a bit more grunt. BTW, my dealer says he sells them within $500 of each other. For that, I'll take the BX26xx.

Oh, I get compliments on the Super Duty, but I'm fed up being brighted because everyone sees the quad headlights and thinks I have my high beams on.

For $500 its a no brainer then. Trivia...Kubota discontinued the 29hp B model because anything 26hp or higher now has to have a soot cooker and regen diesel emissions, below 26hp is exempt from this. I don't get brighted that often with my LED's but when I do I give them a sunburn with my high beams. Half these gomer piles in my area have one of their headlights pointed at the sky anyway, the other half have a headlight out burnt out. Its so common we count burnt out headlights for fun on trips. lol
