Buying Advice Bx2360 vs mf 2400??

Anybody have an opinion?? Both come from the same dealer(FIL) roughly the same price. Anything about either of these 2 that really stand out

I chose the GC2400 because of the side-by-side pedals and the left foot brake.
A friend of mine bought the BX2360 and he is not happy with the mower deck. He claims that with the BX, you can not allow the deck to touch the ground while mowing, and he gets an uneven cut.
On my Massey GC2400, the wheels on the deck are supposed to ride on the ground and I get a very good cut.

I thank you for your time, and responce. I wish I had of checked back sooner. I made the deal this morning on the bx. The price was the same and the foot pedal position isnt a real big concern. I was swayed by the salesman telling me that the 2400 is made from a bunch of different manufacturers and that the bx comes out of one factory. That and there are no 2400's left in western Canada that he could get his hands on. Keep in mind I bought this unit from my FIL. Thanks again I'll let you know how it works out.

I have a slightly older BX2200 that uses the same 60" MMM and it came from the dealer without being adjusted properly and made streaks in the lawn. While I was not happy with the dealer, an hour with a tape-measure & few wrenches and I had it adjusted properly. There is no reason a new piece of equipment (from Kubota) that is made to mow lawns can't be adjusted properly. Measure the distance from the blades to a flat piece of concrete & you can see for yourself if you have a set-up problem.
