I appreciate all of the help you'all gave me when I had a hydraulic leak. I got that fixed with The Lord's guidance, and wisdom from you,'all. My new-old problem occurred before I had the hydraulic leak. When I engage the pedals (forward or backward) on the HSD the tractor dies. It developed this one day while I was using it and didn't think I'd get it back to the barn. I unplugged the stop solenoid, and I didn't have the problem, just had to manually shut the fuel off. I plugged the stop solenoid in started the tractor, it idled fine. Turned the key off and the solenoid engaged and cut the fuel off and about 5 or so seconds the stop solenoid disengaged, so I don't think it's a relay timer. When I had the tractor apart fixing the hydraulic leak(s) I took all of the safety switches off, including the seat switches, and tested them with an ohm meter and they all read good. I have been using the tractor with the stop solenoid unplugged is there some gremlin hiding somewhere that I didn't think to look for that might be causing the problem? Or an adjustment I can make? Any help would be appreciated. My wife would appreciate being able to turn the key of and it stop, instead of shutting it off manually, or me installing a kill button inline with the stop solenoid?
