I think this is normal but I wanted to ask a few others. I have a BX2230 with a Woods FEL and BH. Both removed but after abut an hour of mowing the return line that loops for the BH was pretty hot to the touch. Not hot enough to burn you but hot never the less. I assume this is normal since the tranny must warm up pretty good when your running around the lawn.

Hydro fluid is usually at least 80 degrees warmer than ambient temperatures.

That line will get hot....... hot enough to burn your hands if you hold them on it. The reason for this is that the fluid is constantly moving through the system. I wouldn't be concerned. The same thing happens with my BX22 and last summer when it was extremely hot (95+ degrees) and I was working the tractor hard, the hydro fluid started coming out the overflow from thermal expansion...
