bx2200 starting problems

I have a bx2200, recently bought used. Problem? How do you opperate the three point, on the rear without the mower activating at the same time. While trying to use box blade on rear, the 60' mower also goes up and down at the same time???? Why??? Michael

With the 3 pt hitch all the way up there is a big black knob down under the inside of your left leg (if your sitting on the tractor that is), Make sure the 3 pt hitch is all the way up by holding the raise lever up for a few seconds after it reaches the top and turn the black knob till it reads "Top" at the 12 o'clock postion. This will lock your MMM in the up position so you can use your blade.
