BX2200 Starter Issue

Any chance the relays eventually crap out? Mine has started acting up again. I bought another relay but wanted to ask what the chances are the first relay has issues now before I swap it out.

Where did you mount the relay?

I mounted mine on the frame rather than on the engine where is would be subjected to lots of vibration. Figured it would last longer that way.

A relay is an electro-mechanical device, so expected to fail eventually. Especially if subjected to the "death rattle" every time you shut the BX2200 engine down.

Yeah I mounted mine on the frame as well. I got a replacement just haven't installed it yet. "Death Rattle" is a great way to describe the shut down, lol!
