I think the gear selector (hydro) is out of adjustment (assuming there is a safety interlock there).
I know it needs to be in neutral to start. No crank 2 days ago (no clicking of solenoid by the way) so I moved the hydro stick back and forth and it started. Today same thing but no amount of movement of hydro stick helped. I lifted rear wheel off the ground and tried to rotate tires. There was some resistance at first then they moved. At that point I tried key and it started right up.
Would like to know if there is a safety interlock for this hydro stick (seems obvious as it won’t start unless in neutral) and where it is. I also would benefit from an electrical schematic of these safety interlocks.
I’ve had the BX from new (2001) and have really never had much trouble with it (900 hours).
Thanks for any help.
