I have a 2001 BX2200 with less then 700 hrs on it. I've changed the hydro oil and filter several times, with Kubota oil & filters, never finding metal filings in the used oil. The oil is at the full mark on the stick. The problem I'm having is with the loader bucket. Sometimes when I set the bucket at a slight downward direction to back drag and then set the loader to the float position the bucket will loose its position and roll back up so it's flat on the ground. When you pull down on the control lever to lift the loader up the bucket rolls down on it's own until you move the lever to the left to raise it back up. It's acting like the bucket is in a float mode. At other times when I try to set the bucket so the front edge is flat on the ground to cut down high spots as I move forward and I "tap" the lever to curl the bucket up just a little bit, the bucket will roll all the way up instead of moving just a little bit at a time. Is this an issue with a valve sticking inside the control box that the lever is part of? Thanks for your replies.
