Bx2200 Grille Guard

Anyone have info on making their own grille guard for a Bx2200? I am looking into doing this since I don't like the way the factory unit covers the front it's a wide open design. I'm open to all sugestions. Bigguy

Have you tried searching? Select all forums and go back a while and I know you'll find some interesting Grill Guard designs. I haven't seen anything specific to the 2210 but I know OkieG made a nice one for his 855. I've read several good threads on that subject.

Don't worry the grill guard on my l is mighty lame as well. Only thing it's really good for is protection while loading trucks. In the woods it's all but useless. I attached a picture of my stock grill guard.

But the real I'm posting is to say HAY, I live rigtht down the street from ya. Well more or less. I work at the jail in Smyrna and live just outside Dover.

The guard on my 4110 is worthless also...still haven't figured out what it guards! I have some ideas for alterations just haven't got to it yet...

I just bought my bx2200 and was not happy with the grill guard available. After talking to the dealer, I was able to get them to give me the grill guard that comes stock with the BX22. Nicer looking and provides much more protection.

I posted some pictures last fall (Oct. 2002?) of my brush guard. Do a search under Kubota Owning/Operating.
If it interests you, I can send you the measurements.
After designing it, a friend welded it for me, and it has held up to my abuse.
