Hello,
I posted earlier about my new tractor leaking some sort of fluid. The dealer came and picked up the tractor tonight. He checked the hydraulic fluid level and said it was fine. In addition to this leak, I was hearing a whine coming from the rear end. Is this normal from the hydrostatic transmission or could it be something else? Also the dealer said he wants to pressure wash the engine and entire tractor to find the leak. Does that hurt? The tractor has 3.5 hours and isn't even dirty. I'm afraid all that high pressure water will do more harm than good. Also it's raining like mad here and he left it outside. I'm new to tractor ownership so that last comment may make some of you laugh, but I'm just worried about my "investment." Am i worrying too much or is my Kubota built for the abuse that the dealer will do tomorrow? Thanks again to all of you who deal with my questions. I'll learn by watching and listening to you experienced Kubota owners.
