BX2200 Air Filter Strap

Well I read on TBN that the BX air filter strap has been breaking so I checked mine, sure enough it's broken.
Right where it mounts to the engine.
Is this covered under warranty?

I'm hesitant to replace it with another replacement Kubota strap as I know it will break again, wimpy design. Has Kubota done anything to beef up the replacements, or has anyone replaced it with something better?

The new strap has a slightly different bend radius. Mine broke and the the replacement hasn't broken yet. My dealer gave me the option bring in the tractor or fix myself, so they gave me the stap and new bolts/washers and away I went. I have over 50hrs on the new bracket so far so good.

Go back one page on this forum and look for "Kubota 2 Year Survey". This topic was discussed there. I also posted a picture of the new mounting hardware for the new bracket. The strap and bracket is covered under Kubota's warranty.
