I've seen a lot in these posts about the new BX22 with backhoe but have not seen any pictures or anything on the official Kubota web site. Does anyone know when it will be available and how it will be priced compared to the BX2200? I will need something in the spring for 2 acres of lawn and lots of landscaping around a new house to be completed in March - a BX22 or 2200 looks ideal.

Thanks,
Scott

Go to your Kubota dealer. Mine already has the factory brochures and list prices. The cover of the brochure is a hoot, a "Rural Yuppie" in front of an estate home, operating his toy backhoe in a button down dress shirt! Guess that says it all about the target market...

That's me - "rural yuppie", 'cept I wear a button down *flannel* shirt when I'm working in the "field".

Ihave seen at the local dealer,BX2200's with a after market backhoe on them.He is selling them brand new,so I dont think it could void the Kubota warranty. My BX2200 is still having pedal problems even after the dealer installed a grease fitting on the shaft housing.I can't get it to accept grease so I'm going back to the dealer again. There must be a kubota refit that allows for the grease.Other than that I really like the machine.

Installing a grease fitting on the shaft doesn't work. I know, that's what my dealer tried before Kubota came out with a fix. Their fix includes a new pedal mount with the zirc in place along with new bushings that fit with room for grease to pass through them. The original bushings fit to tight to allow grease to flow.

Hey guys I have the same problem. I cannot seem to get the grease through the fitting and it appears to be getting worse with the lower temps we are now experiencing. Just this weekend I was going to load some fire wood off one of my piles and as I drove up to it -- you guessed it BX kept moving before I got on the brake. The wood pile didn't have a chance. I thought I read where someone cut a small channel into the back of the zirc to allow for grease flow (which I was going to try) but I now see the small tolerance within the pedal mechanism itself wont allow for proper flow of the grease. Calling the dealer this week. Thanks for the info!
