BX22 will not start

I have exactly 48 hours on my BX22 & have it scheduled to go in for it's 50 hour ordeal next Tuesday - - I took off this afternoon to get in another couple of hours mowing [the pasure really needs it] & the bloomin' thing would not start. It acts like it does when you try to start it when you are not in neutral. Near as I can tell, I have plenty of battery. The PTO is not engaged.
Any other thoughts? Guess I'll let the dealer figure it out when he picks it up, but I sure did want to use it a little now.

Does you're have the kill plunger? I've forgotten to push that back in before. The other thing that comes to mind is a safety lockout switch (clutch would be a first guess) that has come disconnected or got bumped out of adjustment.

'Least your dealer is showing up soon - thought I'd throw out an idea or two to try and get you going tonight...

I had the same problem and found out that the neutral switch came loose. It is under the right side fender. You can push it in with a screwdriver and try to start the machine. Hope this helps.

I called the service manager yesterday & he said it was unusal, but it could be the idiot switch that keeps it from starting unless you are in neutral was bad or unplugged. I got a chance to check this morning & found it was indeed unplugged. However, there's no way I could get my hand or tools in there to reconnect, just bruised knuckles.

I finally solved it by alligator clipping together the ends of the wire that was unnplugged - - it started like a charm. Since it is going in for r & r on Tuesday, I'll let the dealer worry about plugging it back in.
