Price Check BX22 Price Quote I Got - Is this good?

Hi,

New to forum. Got a price quote from my local dealer in Purcellville, VA or $16,000 for BX22 TLB with 60" Belly Mower. This includes assembly, delivery and familiarization. Tractor includes turf tires with fluid in rears. Is this a good deal? Thanks for your insite.

Seems decent to me. I just signed the PO for mine today. The tractor was $14,500 (and it was actually on the lot and available, which was a big factor for me ). I got a Land Pride rear mount finish mower for mine which set me back another $1,750.

Sounds good. The price I got was $17,000. Did you get a 4 position valve on the front in case you want to add a front blade at some point? Grill Guard?

Decent deal...but don't get the turfs. Get the bar tires. Unless you live in a swamp, they will generally not hurt your lawn. But they will also let you work more effectively with the FEL and other "earth moving" accessories. You will be surprised at how much time you'll put on the FEL!

Hi.........The price I got from my local dealer was $16995 for BX 22 TLB with 60"MMM. I am still contemplating between BX and B7500 /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Sounds like a good deal to me. As Becker said I would go with the Bars.

If you want to, give Frederick Equipment in Mount Pleasant, Md (just outside of Frederick) a call. Their number is (301) 898-1200. Their prices seem to be excellent, and they have been very responsive to me. Try and get ahold of Ron Kershner. They sell a lot of Kubotas in your area from what I understand.

Thanks for all the replies. Dealer and I talked about the 4 way joystick and he said that his price would be inclusive of that 4 way option b/c I want to add the front blade at some point. He sent me pricing for the 60" hydraulic tilt blade @ "Add for BX2763 60" hydraulic angle blade with BX2751 quick hitch - $1,325.00". I am not sure about the grill guard. What do I need that for? Also, I thought the BX22 came with one? Am I mistaken?

Also, as far as the tires are concerned . . . Does everyone agree that if I can only have 1 set of tires, go for the bar tires? Does everyone agree that they are ok for mowing as well? I think I will have more mowing than other use at first so I was thinking that I would start with the turf tires and than add the bars later when I had some extra cash? Thoughts . . .

Tomaay,
I got the bars and have found so far that they don't rip up the lawn. Unless its really wet you should be able to use bars for everything and the added traction is a definite plus.
