Tires BX1830 and BX25, wheels and tires are they the same???

I have a chance to purchase all 4 wheels and turf tires for my BX25 from a BX1830.

The tires I am looking to purchase match up size wise except for the fronts that are 18x8.50-8 instead of 18x8.50-10. I don't have any idea if the wheels are the same or the bolt pattern will match up either. What I do know is that the ones available are from a BX1830.

Any help would be appreciated as the sale ends today 1-25-09 Sunday at 5pm.

I'm sorry to say that the front 8" will not work with the BX25. I've had a chance to test this switch. The front axle has been change, bigger axle end.

I don't know about the 1830 but the 1850 and 1860 have 24" rear tires while the BX24/BX25 have 26" rears.

Edit: Just checked the spec's for the 1830 and it lists the rears as 26x12x12, so at least the rears would work.

Bird1968 is right. After I posted, I went out and looked at the BX24 and there was not a lot of clearance inside the front wheel. I just checked the part numbers and the front axle housings are different. My apologies, I should have done the research before I gave the erroneous info.

The info I have shows the 1830 as using the same 12 x 26 rear tires as the BX24.

Thank you all for the advise, I guess I could bid and if I win the auction use the rears and sell the fronts but with with the distance I am going to keep looking for the correct set of four. If anyone has a BX1830 they look almost new and are on eBay ending today.

Have you checked with your dealer? When I was tractor shopping, a local dealer had a BX2350 that had turf tires on it. I told him I wanted R4s and he said he would get me a set of four tires and wheels for $150. I am sure this was probably his cost, but if you have a good relationship with your dealer, you might get a fair price from him.

Anyone want to sell me a set of turfs and wheels for a BX25? I am looking for new or even like new. I would be happy to pay $150 even $250, let me know...
