I want to add a hydraulic spool to my BX1800. Does anyone no or have pictures of where to get the pressure from, and also where to return the oil?

Are you trying to add rear remotes? Do you have the valve for an FEL already?

Kubota sells a dual spool kit for the newer BX series tractors - neat kit and very clean install and the price was reasonable. I added the kit to my old BX1860. I'd check with your dealer if there's a kit for your BX1800. It's a wholegoods item so you'd have to order it through sales and not parts. Here's a few pic's of my old BX1860 install. I think somewhere along the way, Kubota moved the hydraulic block from the left side to the right side (looking from the rear) of the tractor.

That is a very clean set-up, thanks for posting your pictures. Couple questions, if you will. How much? And, did the dealer do the install?

Thanks.

The kit was $320 ordered from Messicks a few years ago. I did the install, which wasn't bad if you remove the one rear tire. A little tight to swing wrenches in there, but it's doable. I didn't think that was a bad price for the valve, metal tubes, female QC's and linkages/levers. Doubt I could have saved much if anything putting a kit together myself and it sure wouldn't have looked as nice.

Thank you CHD.

Definitely a good price in the scheme of Kubota prices

I would like to do a hydraulic top-link set-up, and that's just the ticket right there.

That was the first thing I did after adding the remotes, then I added a small 3PH wood splitter. Go for it. (I miss my HTL - can't put this valve on the BX25 as it interferes with the backhoe subframe :( )

There is no loader on this tractor, just the 3pth. Where would i tap in for pressure? I only want to add a single spool gresen valve i have on hand.
