BX1800 HAS HST LITE ON ALL THE TIME

I HAVE A 2000 YR BX1800, THE HST LITE CAME ON AND NEED TO KNOW IF THIS IS ANYTHING SERIOUS. EVERYTHING IS WORKING FINE, AND I CHANGED FILTER AND FLUID. IT IS LOCATED ON THE DASH BELOW THE OTHER WARNING LITES. IT HAS THE CORRECT LEVEL OF FLUID. ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW WHAT THIS LITE IS INDICATING, ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THE DEALER SAID THEY DIDN'T KNOW IT HAD A LITE SO THEY AREN'T MUCH HELP....THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY INFO....

There is a wire under the seat that when grounded, will illuminate the light. Look for a wire that isn't hooked up to anything, and see if it has been pinched or frayed and grounding on the transmission. Also, did you happen to add any electrical devices to the tractor recently? You might have spliced into a circuit that you were not supposed to be using, and the ground is going through that light. When it comes to electrical problems, there are lots of possibilities, but always start with the simple ones first.
