My old man just picked up an older BX. Pretty light in the rear. Anyone fill their rear turf tires? I know they are pretty small so not sure if it is worth it. Thanks for any info.

really all depends on what you are doing with it.
A smaller tractor like that doesnt cost much to fill the tires. Give it a try to see if it helps.

Fill em with water and experiment with fill ratio to see how you like it. You can always put in anti freeze later if you like it.

You will find the filled tires make the unit seem less tippy. Up here in the cold country we use beet juice. If you ever get a flat that stuff won’t pollute....although the bears might like it!

I filled my Kubota ZTR rear tires. They only took 8 gallons each IRC. 65 lbs x 2 = 130 lbs; still better than a sharp stick in the eye.

My BX2230 has filled rear tires along with wheel weights. Hauling a full bucket of dirt, I feel comfortable with it. But I am still cautious when on side slopes. Jon
