I just bought a bx1500 with a 54in mmm and a fel along with front mounted snowblower.It isnt ready yet i should be getting it at the end of the week.I was wondering if i needed the snowblower or could i have gotten by with the fel.My driveway is paved.Thanks for your input as i am new to this seen

I don't know where you live or how much snow you get but sure you can get by with a FEL for moving snow. We haven't had much snow this year but last year I moved a bunch of snow with my FEL. That being said a front mounted blower and a paved driveway sure sounds like a nice match /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

i live about 90 min north of nyc and we get a good amount of snoe

My Guess...

Before a person has a front mounted snow blower, he could very easily get buy with his loader and maybe a cheap rear blade. Experience talking here...I'm still getting by... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

But once that person owns and uses his front snow blower the first time...getting by without it will become real tough... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think you are going to love having that snow blower...

That sounds like an awesome package. As far as the snowblower goes, if you get 6 to 8 inches say overnight more than a half dozen times a year you will be very glad you bought it.

thank you for your input,your just about right with your numbers so i feel better with the purchase of the snowblower
