Looking for one now.
Just bought a used 2005 BX 1500. Figured out how to use it OK except for one item. The control on the right which raises and lower the 3-point hitch and mower deck seems to lower or raise both at once. Is there any way to operate them seperately.

Basically, no. The MMM lift arms are connected to the 3PH lift arms so both work together. This is how the vast majority of tractors are designed.
Kubota does not have an option for an independant lift for the MMM.
There is a linkage adjustment for the 3PH to MMM lift arms on the right side of the tractor. You can see it just over the right rear wheel. If it's adjusted properly, the 3PH lever should automatically return to the neutral position once the 3PH/MMM reaches the full up or down positon.

If there ever comes a time when you want to keep the MMM mounted but work a 3PH implement too, you can raise the MMM/3PH up to it's highest position then turn your depth gauge knob to "Top". This will lock your MMM in the up position and it will stay there no matter what position you raise or lower the 3PH/implement.

Congrats on your purchase, from what I've read here the BX1500 is a stout little tractor.

Yup. What he said.

Sure hope you enjoy the tractor. I've saved over half my investment in project savings already and I've owned it for 1.67 years and, oddly, 167 hours. Though the BX1500 is slightly smaller, it is pleanty stout to handle a great many tasks. I am 100% certain you will enjoy it greatly for many years.

Many welcomes to Kubota world.

Thanks for the replies. I will have to study the adjustments you mentioned and see what I can do with them.
Have enjoyed mowing with it so far. Leaves are starting to fall here and it does a good job of moving them to the edge of the yard where I can easily pick them up.

Congratulations on the BX1500.

I just bought 2 of them: I new and 1 used.
Also ordered these attachments for them.
1* New 48'' tiller
2* New 48'' MMM
3* Used Hydraulic lift and tilt front blade.
4* used 48'' MMM
The dealer is also checking out a used 48'' brush hog which i plan to get too if the price is right.

If you and I like the BX1500s as much as I like my BX23 we will have a ball with them.

You are correct. Further, that design dates back several decades; my old B7100 had a similar system. However, the newer BX design is more refined and works even better.

Where did you find a used front blade with hydraulic tilt? Do you have any pics? How wide is it and what did it cost you. I have been thinking of getting a front blade for snow removal but at $800 bucks I am still tossing it around. And it doesn't have tilt which would be a bonus.

<<1* At the dealer I'm buying the 2 BX1500 tractors from.
He just happened to be getting a BX in on trade with the blade on it.
2*The dealer hasn't delivered them yet I just got approved for the financing a couple of days ago.
The dealer is getting them set up now.
3* 54"
$1500.
A new one was $1900 and a new Manual angle was $1400.
4*$800 for a manual angle isn't bad compared to the $1400 I got on a new manual angle blade.
Did you check to see if you could buy the quick hitch /attachment for the $800 blade that allows the angle tilt?
The blade I'm getting was actually only $1000 but the quick hitch /attachment for the tractor that allows the angle tilt was $500.
The $1000 for the used blade and the $500 new quick hitch /attachment for the tractor makes up the $1500 I paid.
If the $800 dollar Blade you're talking about is like the blade I'm getting you should be able to get the quick hitch /attachment for the tractor that allows the angle tilt and have the same set up as mine for a couple of hundred bucks less than mine.
IE >>> Blade $ 800 + $500 new quick hitch /attachment = $1300 compared to mine at $1500.
What Tractor are you wanting a blade on?
Yours may be already set up for Hyd angle tilt.
I know that MY BX23 is as it has the quick hitch /attachment for the Loader.
If you have a loader on your tractor it may be set up for a Hyd angel blade also.>>

I want to install it on my bx1500. The $800 was for the blade and quick hitch. I do have a loader with a four position valve.

*The $800 was for the blade and quick hitch. I do have a loader with a four position valve.
*How much for the Blade and how much for the quick hitch?
The used Blade I'm getting is $1000 and the Quick hitch/attach and any valves needed to install it on the BX1500 come to $500 for a total of $1500 installed.
The way The dealer explained it to me is the blade for a 1000 dollars will work on my BX23 because by it having a loader I already have the quick attach and the valves need for the blade on the BX23.
You may not need anything but the blade for your BX1500 since you have a loader and the valves an maybe the quick attach. Can you buy the blade without the quick attach for any less than the 800 bucks in case you don't need the QA?
Let me know what you find out and come up with on this!
If you can put this blade on your BX1500 and have Hyd lift & angle for $800 to $1300 you're getting it for a song.
I thought $1500 was a deal compared to $1900 new.
