I just noticed that there are 2 turn signals on each side (L&R) of the ROP on my BX. Why on earth? They are right next to each other, less than 1/8 inch apart.

So that people will have twice the chance of seeing what direction you are going to turn? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Here's a guess.

Various regulatory requirements require different configurations (worldwide), so they simply add lights rather than redesign the fenders.

I notice the European BX's have different tail lamps (above the fender) than mine.
