Snow BX Snow plow Question

/ BX Snow plow Question #21
At the risk of thread-jacking (but I think this will help the OP), can anyone confirm the 54" front BX blade clears the tire path at full angle left or right? Would seem pretty close given the BX track is somewhere around 45". Also, does anyone have experience adding a second hydraulic cylinder to convert he 54" blade to power angle? I got quotes of about $600 less for the 54" vs 60". It seemed like a lot more for 6" more blade and power angling.

The 60" blade is of much heavier construction, etc. than the 54", and is considered OK for grading dirt also, I think the 54" is mostly for snow, and very light dirt work.
I think you're rite on this.
