BX recall notice

Just got one today for a blocked radiator cap, they are sending out replacements as they become available.
Wondering if this is local or an international problem.

Is there a year or specific model number mentioned?

I think that is the same as the BX25D (w/backhoe) that I have.

Letter states BX compact ttractor, GR ride on mower, ZD and ZG zero turn mowers.
It states my tractor model and serial number, model is BX2370DVA-AU.
The cap is AG18-57.
This could be an AU model only recall, I don't know as the letter is generated and sent to individual owners from the local database, there is no manufacturing date or model range eg; 60 series etc so they have singled out buyers who are affected, sorry I cannot offer any further info but I wonder if that part number is AU only as a lot of equipment arrives here with a different radiator that what the Euro market gets.
There is a picture of the faultly part and it looks like the blockage was always there and says that it may be clogged due to part of the injection moulding process.
I do not have a scanner (I am at work) so I can't send the letter.
It is the coolant reserve tank cap

This is a massive recall. I’ve inspected about a half dozen caps so far among units sitting at the dealership.

Recently had my BX25 in for service. Dealer brought up the recall and said Kubota could either mail me the cap, mail it to the dealer and they install it, or the dealer could simply "repair" my current cap. I opted for the repair.

Looks like mine was built before the 2014-2018 window and serial number is lower than the listed block. Still might stop in my dealer and play dumb and ask.

Looks like my BX and GR are earlier units. Will double check.

Bought my BX25D-1 9/9/14 and just got the recall notice yesterday for the radiator cap.

Thanks for posting this. I just called my dealer in Ontario, Canada, and he wasn,t aware of the re-call.
My serial number does fall within the range, so I,m sure I,ll eventually see a new cap. Hopefully they send a nice free Kubota ball cap with it as well, but I would say chances of that happening are slim, to none. LOL

It was the same for me with the BX seat recall... Dealer had no idea but made a call to confirm...

I never would have known about it without TBN
