BX plow and disc

Anyone use there BX with a 3pt plow and disc? If so what do you have?
I know Northern shows them in their catalog.
How does the BX do? I would think it would be a nice little setup for a good sized garden.

I know you have seen this post before, as when I went to get the link I noticed you had replied back in June, but if I can answer any specific questions, let me know and I will try. As noted before, I am not a professional, so they will be based on my limited experience, but I truly love the BX pulling this plow compared to my old Cub as it sure is much easier on the body and eliminates the digging out I used to do one or two times each plowing session /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'd asked about the use of the disc plow to make mounded rows. Haven't heard from any that have used the disc plow yet. The Kubota dealer in Orange, Va had several single bottom disc plows sitting around.

I tear up new ground and then make mounded rows using my Gravely rotary plow. Don't know what they don't make a similar plow for the 3 pt hitch, running of the PTO.

The disc or straight plows only control is depth and ground speed. With a plow working off the PTO, you'd have that effect to play with as well. With the rotary plow, you can end up with a reasonably flat ground surface that doesn't have to be rototilled or harrowed to level it. Then you can make mounded rows that'll drain better.

Anyone out there? I'm looking long range to replace my Gravely. Shorter range, I'm looking at a BX to pull my cart and spare the Gravely at bush hogging and snow plowing.
