I have the 54" fine cut on a BX25 I bought in the beginning of the summer and I like it. Cuts nicer than my old TroyBilt 42" riding mower that is for sure.
I do not have the optional mulch kit and I do not have the bagger. In the summer it was fine, no windrows or clumps of grass. It really throws a high volume of air out of the chute!
Now there are some leaves falling and they wind up in the center of the yard after mowing around in a circle. They don't really disappear, if you keep running over them you just keep blowing them around.
I am wondering if the mulching kit would make the leaves disappear, or would the bagger ($$$$) be the answer.
If anyone that has the optional mulching kit could offer before and after observations that would be great!
