I am thinking about buying a BX 2350 or 2360.I also want to get the 60" front blade to plow my driveway. In the past I have used a 4wd atv that worked well for me.
Will the BX push the snow as good as the atv?

Thanks
Steve

I'd say it would do better (push heavier loads) on fairly flat areas. Not sure about hills though

What size ATV? I have a BX2230 with a blade and it works but is not the best thing I've used for sure, You will loose traction way before your out of power,I have tried chain's and in my opinion still not as good as a large ATV with a blade.Ground clearance is an issue by time's.[Wet] snow about 5-6" deep will push the front end badly. If I were doing it again would most likly give back blade a try and leave my loader on.I know looking ahead is hard to beat. I to am from central Pa.the last 4 winters have been no problem,I have a 700 Ft rural driveway as long as the snow is not slushie wet it has moved it.

A plow on BX is doable,no problem. I do it. However, IF you havent bought anything yet and can add in the price of front blower with your BX, you will be a happy man in the end.

This is the same blade you asked about on A BX1500.

You can clear 12 to 14 inches of snow with any 2 wheel drive garden tractor so a BX is more than enough tractor.
Don't ask me how I know.
Oh; go ahead.
I did it a few times in 25 or 30 years of snow plowing with my 1966 Bolens 850 garden tractor .

I had a honda trx300 4x4 with a 48" plow, worked great, my kubota bx2200 does not have a plow , but has the la211 front end loader, it will push any type of snow coming up over the top of the bucket and several feet of snow the same height in front of the bucket, with no problem,of course in 4 wheel drive.

Mine has worked great for the last 2 years. Haven't had a snowfall big enough yet to stop it.

My BX2230 with the 60" blade works amazing on my Upstate NY (Finger Lakes Region) snow storms. I have the Ag tires and don't use chains, even though I have them. Never tried pushing snow a 4wd ATV.

My Bx1830 can easily push twice what my 4x4 polaris could push when it had a blade on. Most ATV's just don't weigh anywhere near what our tractors weigh. When pushing snow, more weight = better traction.
