BX cradle bearings - fixed in the BX2230/BX23?

I know it s still early in the recent "discovery" of the sticking pedal issue's uncovering but is there any info yet as to if this affects only the BX2200/BX22 or did Kubota change this bearing for the newly released BX2230 & BX23 models?

Anyone have access to the parts book info for both generations of these machines?

All I can offer is the part number for the BX2200.

6C050-98750: Bearing, Cradle

Bearing for BX2230 : 6C050-98752( same part number for the BX22)
The manual calls for two of these Cradle bearings that cost $41.64 each.

I have no idea about the Bearing part number for the BX23

Anyone know how difficult it is to change the cradle bearings? Is it a do it your self job, or let the dealer do it?? and pay the $$.

I only know what I have read and it is a major job. It contains pulling the rear hyr out etc.

Take a look in the service manual if you want an idea........Looks to me like You have to disassemble the entire Transmission as the bearings appear to mount on the housing .

I certainly will agree it looks like a Major undertaking not to mention costly for all the gaskets and such one would have to replace not to mention the bearings themselves over $41.00 each.

Is Kubota doing a recall on this or if your tractor is out of warranty, are you on your own?

There is no recall that I know of.
And from the looks of it in the service manual there won't be.

So it looks like the BX2200 uses a different bearing than the BX22, BX2230, and BX23 which all use the same bearing.

Is anyone with a BX22, BX2230, or BX23 having the sticky hydro problem?
