Where did Roger mention you by name? He didnt. Your rant is out of line.

He quoted and agreed with the OP who has the the right to his opinion, just like Roger does.

I have no doubts, owning a BX myself, that some on here are a little bit fuzzy with time on task numbers. Usually to try to justify that their smaller machine works just as well and more importantly just as fast as a larger machine... The reality is in most cases, the opposite is true.

The BX is a tough, LITTLE machine. Argue all you want about your "opinion" on how strong the BX is, but you cant argue with the physics. Its light weight and small hydraulic cylinders can only do so much.

Can you do a lot of work with one? Yeah, if you got all year to do it. I just dug out a pine stump, 24" dia. It took all day. A reasonable sized backhoe or small excavator would pull the same stump in 15 minutes.

This thread is like the 120v welder threads, where the BX is the 120v welder.

Does not have to mention me by name, but calling out those that make videos and take time to review the machine and projects we do, then telling us we outright lie, I am not out of line one bit....and it is not opinion it is pure facts and the videos back that up.

We know you have a BX and we also know your views on it.....fine....you know my views on it as well.

But I am not going to sit by and continue to let people say that those that make videos lie and do not represent what the machine can do correctly, not defending the BX, defending what I am doing with the videos I post.

I've moved multiple tri-axle loads of limestone/dirt/bank gravel etc with my BX23 and have never had a problem. Does it take longer than a D9, yes. I see my BX as a Swiss army knife, does everything fine, nothing perfect...All of this garbage about a BX being a glorified lawn tractor--those individuals should talk to all of those who were very impressed with what my BX could do.

If the OP couldn't figure out how to use the FEL properly, it's not the BX's fault.

No point in talking to those who are impressed with the machine....we will lie.

And you are right, the OP could not figure it out......some people are just too stupid to know how to use a device to its strengths, or read the manual it seems, a little light in the head....err back of the tractor.

From BX2360 manuals:

Loader manual recommends a maximum of 420 pounds on the rear as loader ballast.

Tractor manual recommends a maximum of 275 pounds on the front as rear implement ballast.

Bruce

Go figure.....I bet the manual is in the trash somewhere.

Quickly editing his post to change the weight then trying to figure out if he used the manual to start the fire for his burn pile.

As for other people, reeding iz hard....I guess quoting yourself is the only way you can win an argument.

So tell us why do you come to a BX thread and then try to run them down, tell us we have bought the wrong thing all the while telling us we lie and misrepresent its abilities.

I was having a civilized discussion. Your are trying to turn it into an argument.

The best way to win an argument is to take things they say out of contex and dodge them when they make a valid point.

BTW are you trying to boost your post count, posting 3 times in a row. There is a multiquote feature.

So this thread went 8 pages and ends up the original poster (and previous tractor owner) did not put any weight implement on the back wheels ............unbelievable is right !! I think you owe an apology to all the BX owners.

Not even remotely. I was mowing and ran across a hole that needed filling in - gravel pile was 20 feet away. I tried to grab some gravel and do a quickie fill job, as "unbelievable" as that may seem. Having to completely reconfigure your tractor to allow it to be even marginally effective is acceptable to you? It isn't to me. I'm surely not going to drive all the way back to the barn, put on a weight or whatever, then go do the little job - 30 minutes to fill in a hole is just a bit out of control, IMHO. I DID, however, after pissing in the wind for 5 minutes, drove back to the barn, dropped off the BX, fired up my L and did the job with a couple of scoops and literally about 2 minutes - without having to muck around with hooking up any extra implements. Besides, I'm nursing a hand injury and hooking up implements hurts it - not that I would do it anyway.

I always have an implement on the back of my BX (usually the BH) so FEL counterweight is never an issue. You should consider yourself blessed in that you have both a bigger tool and a handy BX! I imagine most of us BX owners have only the means and an honest need for just one 'glorified' lawn tractor.

I'm still trying to understand what 'glorified' means. Back Hoe?, FEL? mid and rear PTO?, Tons of accessories?

Yeah I guess... funny thing is I can't mow my lawn with my glorified mower (yet). It must be good for nothing.

Some people live to complain.................instead of live to overcome, we now know which describes the OP
