BX and a dirt scoop

   / BX and a dirt scoop #2
I don't have a BX but I do have an old B6100 and I've looked at dirt scoops. My thought is that our tractors just arent tall enough to make the dirt scoop dumping operation very effective. What I mean is that even with the scoop raised as high as we can get it, dumping it won't create much of an angle. That's what it looks like to me anyway without ever actually trying it.

On my BX2200, I have used both a TSC scoop and one that I had when I got my old 8N Ford.
The one for the Ford worked fine, the TSC scoop I had to move the pins to push the scoop back so it would not rub on the tires on the BX2200 when raised.
Like most 3 PT implements for Cat one tractors, you will need to move the pins lower to match the lower position of the pins on a CUT.
Back the tractor up to the implement, raise the 3 pt a little depending on how far you need the implement to penetrate the ground. That will be where you need to relocate the pins on the implement.
