Sounds like you have a hydraulic pump or flow problem. Sorry I couldn,t help.

Could anyone that has this or similar snowblower with a hydraulic chute turner try this... raise the blower a 6-9 inches and try to turn the chute left (cw) then right (ccw) with the blower in the raised position please.

I have one, and it always works no matter what height I have it at. Try moving your hoses around and see if you can isolate certain positions or conditions.

You have a bad or loose adjustment on your gimbal controls.

I don,t know what tractor you have your blower mounted on, but try this and report back. Switch the out 2 hoses with the inner two, and let us know how each different position on your joystick works. What rpms are you trying this at ? try it at 2000 rpm as a test.

Please call your dealer and ask them if the gimbal springs in the valve body can
be replaced before you do anything else as you may have a broken spring in one
of the spools.

Edit: I found out today that the gimbal springs in these kubota loader valves can be replaced.

Using this Webster's definition, I'm trying to imagine just what a broken "gimbal spring" might be.

": a device that permits a body to incline freely in any direction or suspends it so that it will remain level when its support is tipped

—usually used in plural"
