Bx 2360 PTO ???

I have a 2011 Bx 2360 that the only 2 times I have used the rear pto (ran a 3point spreader) when I went to put back in mmm position was hard to do.I had to wiggle back and forth for quite a bit, like it was stuck in position.Tractor has 85 hrs on it has anyone else had this problem???

Our 2660 is like that, sometimes it goes right in and sometimes I have to fool with it a bit. Sometimes it is easier running and sometimes not.

my 1830 did that. turn the PTO on then off then try it. that always helped mine go in easier. kinda like going from lo to high gear, sometimes you need to bump the pedal to realign the gears

Same problem on a B3030. No one has had any suggestions on mine either. I emailed Messicks, since they have a website that you can ask a question, I spoke to the my local dealer and they weren't sure, they thought maybe I had a stick between the linkage, not so, I checked, the linkage is clean, but the lever is definitely stuck, and now the PTO will not engage, probably stuck between positions. I tried moving it while still, tried driving the tractor to loosen something up, tried moving the linkage by hand from behind the tractor, tried rocking back and forth, nothing. Post if you find the problem. I'll do the same. I'm calling my dealer again Monday.

Mine has done it since day 1. As others suggested, slightly engaged your PTO and the selector lever should slide right in.

Went out to try moving it with tractor OFF and Wala moved back and forth between positions slick as a button !!!!

if I remember correctly the owners manual actually addresses the problem. I think it said to apply the brake and engage PTO or something like that.... Glad to hear its working...

Sounds like the gears just needed to mesh together.

I just bump my pto engagement for a second or two and then I can shift the pto selector smoothly. It just the way it is for the kubotas.
