BX 23 instrument lens

The instrument lens on my BX won't stay on. I tried using a heavier 2 sided tape, and it still won't stay in place. Has anyone else had this issue and, if so, how did you correct it? Thanks.

I drilled holes at 4 corners through lens and dash. Used a file to square up holes in dash and installed anchors and stainless steel screws and rubber washers. Holding fast even after 6+ years

OK please tell us where you got the light switches. they are waterproof aren't they?

The switches were actually the original focus of the picture. They're over 6 yrs old, absolutely no issues with them.
