Greetings
My brakes have been under-performing lately. When doing my 100 hour service I went to adjust them and discovered that a pin or bolt was missing from the right side end of the shaft that activates the brakes. The bolt (or pin) fastens the arm that activates the brake on the right wheel. Has anyone else had this dangerous problem? I havn't got to the dealer yet to discover what type of fastener it is ---but I hope it is not prone to gettng loose and dropping out.
First post --- great site-----good people ----gives a person hope for civilization and the human race.

I haven't had that happen, but I did have the brake pedal return spring come off and get trapped in the top of the MMM around a spindle. Ruined the spring of course.

We have in excess of 100, ah it maybe 200 of them out and haven't seen any problems in that area yet. But we will be watching. It might be that we teach to use the hydro for braking that nobody has noticed it.

I'm pushing 100 hours and checked mine after first reading your post.
Everything seems good on mine.
Hope it was just a fluke.
