I was removing the nut off the ROPS bolt, the one on the bottom that goes into the fender. And one stripped out pretty badly. Does this bolt come out too or will I have to get a die and rethread what's left? Also what size is the bolt? I know it's metric I'll try to attach a picture of the mess I made Thanks T

I checked on my bx 2370-1 and the bolt would come out the bottom, but the fuel tank is in the way of removing it from the bottom. I'm guessing yours is the same. So if you want to replace that bolt it looks like you would have to move the fuel tank out of the way, yikes. Hopefully there is an easier way to do this if you wanted to replace the bolt but I'm not sure.

Are you not able to get the nut back on? How did you strip it like that?

I don't know how it happened. Put the impact on it. Zip zip stuck half way. Would not go back on or off so it was stuck in the middle which was pointless. So I forced it off with a big ratchet.

Why are you taking the nuts off? If you want to part with your ROPS I am willing to pay a good amount of cash for it. PM me

Make sure once replaced you use some anti-seize when putting it back on.
