BX 1500 Info Request

Any body with a BX-1500 have a snow blower? Am seeking some info before I decide what to buy a blower. Front vs rear mount? Brand? Cost? Width of blower?

I think the only front mount blower for that tractor is the Kubota made unit. It's 50 inches and costs about $3300. Plenty of choices and brands for the rear but then you have to back up all the time. Not on my list of fun things to do so I will defer to others who have experience with rear mount blowers.

You will never regret driving forward with the front mount snow blower. Chiropractor or Front Mount?

Gravel vs asphalt/concrete? How long is your drive? I would never go with a rear mount as it would not fit my needs. As stated above a front mount is $3000.00 though.

I have had both types, the front blower is the way to go BUT it is a lot of $$$. The 50" front unit maybe a little underpowered on your tractor with deep snow. The rear blower say 42" may work better on your tractor. No matter which way you go do not forget the cab, blowing snow with a front or rear blower is not fun!
