Uh-Oh! Based on all these remarks, maybe I should forgo accepting my 4520 Cab tractor and get a Grand L 5740 cab model instead. Hopefully this stuff is not true or I am going to freakout!
Maybe you should re-read the comments before you hurtle over the edge... (maybe the concern and smile is a "tongue-in-cheek" statement?)
The L5740 cab tractor is - dimensionally - a carbon copy of the 4520-4720 tractor. So, the "Green flamer" who posted those comments is a... well, not likely a very good source for information of any kind!
The 4000 cab tractors are very stable. My experience with both cab tractors would give the edge to the Deere machine. It's a quieter, better tolerances of fit and better ergonomics - comfortable layout.
No major fuel gauge problems with the cab models (that I'm familiar with); have not heard of the joystick issue; and the loader adjustment is something that can be greatly alleviated with maintaining and checking the loader.

Before you spend any money, Go and drive both these machines. Its your cash your spending not the people who post here "including me". Don't get caught up in Deere Green or Kubota rants.There are other makes.

Congrats! You hit the sweet spot of the 4x20 lineup. I believe the 4520 is one of the nicest in the market. Did you go with the CX loader?

Have you noticed the large amount of 400X loaders on used machines?
I check used 3x20 and 4x20 series machines very regularly, and I would say 75% of them have the 400X loader.
It's a complete no brainer, there's nothing better then a self leveling loader.
