Buying Mower for JD 4100

What would be a good price range for either a 54in or 60in mid mount mower in good to excellent condition for a JD 4100?

New, with all the mounting hardware they where $2500. I have seen VERY few used because people general sell them with the tractor's. Not sure what the used market would bring?

Kenny is correct about the cost. I actually found a used Deck (54") for $725 and that was the ticket for me.
I just lloked up on the web for a minute or two and found these two - Dunno if they are still available, but here you go:

I found this one at our local dealer for my 4400, it cost 1,000 bucks, but it had all of the mounting hardware, which ends up costing a lot of money if you don't get all the parts. KennyD and I took it apart, sand blasted it and now it works like a champ!

No problem on that, it came with a new belt and three new blades. They were the nicest part of the deal, the deck looked horrible when I got it home... Little sand, little paint and decals and its good to go.
