buying from barlow`s.

anyone bought a kubota from barlow`s, if so how did you know what to offer t

them on there web site. ??

new tractor buyer here.

what we are lookinf for is a 2010 or 2011 kubota l4400 hst 4 wd.

la703a loader, bucket level rod, grill guard, ag tires, one rear remote,

72; bucket,skid steer attach.

we were looking at kioti but after doing more research we have settled on kubota.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

i to bought a massey gc2610 tlb
, blade, mower etc. in 2010 then we bought a farm this year & now i need a bigger tractor.

so i`m going to sell my massey & go from red to orange.

As mentioned, many on here have bought from Barlows, JOHNTHOMAS has bought about11 or 12.

I have read of no complaints, just well satisfied customers.

I'm sure someone will be along with an experienced answer. I would just offer that just call Brady and talk to him, if you feel you have to make an internet offer, go to "build my Kubota" and get the MSRP for that tractor/accessories, then discount it whatever you feel is appropriate (around 15% seems to be a commonly suggested number). But it's a lot easier to just call Brady. My next Kubota (if there ever is one) will come from Barlows in all likelihood.

I Spoke to Barlows before getting my L3700su froma dealer 10 miles from home. The numbers Barlows were talking were great, my local guy was a couple hundred more but I drove in and left with it a hour later.

Such a sad day when you do that. I love mine but when I need a bigger one I may buy one outright and keep the GC for smaller jobs and mowing. Good luck Botas are good too!!:thumbsup:

Offer him $20,000. I am pretty sure he will reject the offer but it will start a dialog with him that will likely lead to a sell. I bought the tractor that you are shopping for except I got mine with 3 sets of rear remotes. Great people to deal with though I have never met them in person, I have bought 2 tractors and several pieces of equipment from them. :thumbsup:

I tried to buy a Kubota M7040 Cab 4x4 loader 3rd function, etc, from Barlow's last year. Called them and spoke with a gentleman on the phone, I don't recall his name, but he was going to get back with me on a quote. I am still waiting on that call back almost 12 months later.

Now they may be the best dealing in the US, but if they are not going to call me back, then I am not going to beg them to sell me a ~40k tractor.

I'd give them another shot - I can assure you according to many on this forum that is not normal procedure for Barlow's.
