Maybe not, when I bought my Kioti last year, the local Kubota and Massey dealers were both $10k higher. It depends partly on location and partly on how hungry the lower cost dealer is. My dealer quotes his bottom line price to start with.

I wouldn't let the dealer situation sway your decision. Dealer emphasis is WAY over rated on TBN in general (for hobby farmers and homeowners who don't rely on their tractor for their income)


Just out of curiosity, do you mind sharing how many times your JD 4700 has been to the dealer over the last 12 yrs?

Don't mind at all- been to the dealer probably 5 times. 4 for service and once to repair the PTO valve.
