Buying barbed wire and metal t-posts in bulk

I was thinking of buying a large quanity of metal t-posts and barbed wire and metal gates/wood posts and bailing twine,to re sell,I am in a location I think I could sell a bunch if the price was right,how much would a person have to buy to get a discount/wholesale and in turn make a reasonable profit buy reselling.Anyone have any experience in doing this.
How do you go about contacting suppliers directly ?
Is there a magazine newsletter where a person could get in touch with vendors that deal with the farm/ranch products etc ?

We have several places around here that will give a discount if you buy 100+ T-posts and or 10 rolls of barb wire.

Like are sales, Know your market. With metal post going for a couple of bucks, less onsale. Where is the market for profit?
Barbed wire is only good if thats what people in your area use. Around my area, Its not used much, field fence with a top electric wire is most common. Twine is only a big seller for a few months out of the year. There are lots of sizes of gates so how do you judge your inventory when trying to undercut the big guys.

So, its there enough market for what your offer?
