You might be better doing a post in the John Deere Buying/Pricing section or even Operating. I think you will get more information from the Green People.

welcome to the foum: i don't have any particular knowledge of the 790 other thamn i checked them out when i was buying. i liked the tractor for the most part, there where a few things i did not like but that was just me. i did not give it much consideration but that was mostly due to the dealer i was talking to. now bear in mind this was 3 years ago so the machine may have change since then. have u driven it? or anything comprable? would be helpful to know what your intened uses are.
