Century 3045 (48 hp), R-4's, C50 HL loader, C-86 BackHoe, Cub Cadet Z-force 44 and 1042
Started digging the basement today and I was moving some round bales and thought this was a pretty neat picture.

There has been some discussion on some of the boards about moving round bales with a CUT. The 3045 does a good job moving the bales and is very stable. I have mostly gentle rolling hills on my land.

Here is a better view of the excavator going at it. It is unreal how good these guys are. You can see the laser receiver on the arm. He never even had to get out to check the depth. When he was done it was perfectly level, then packed a road around the outside for the cement trucks to drive on.

You are correct Duane, that for some reason is a cool pic!

Hey Duane,

Nice pictures!! The Century looks good--especially with the round bale on it. Is that about a 900-1000lb. bale?
Can't remember---do you have a bale spear for the front loader?

Duane,

Where did you get the toothbar for your FEL bucket? I have a Century 3045 and want a toothbar for the bucket. Did you buy it or make it? Thanks for any info

I bought my toothbar from DANCCE. (Post above yours).

It is a woods toothbar and I have been extremely happy with it. I do not remember the exact price but it was under $300 with shipping.

Dan, I bet that is a pretty good guess on the round bales weight. They are pretty tight. I couldn't be happier with the way the Century handles them.

I do not have a front spear but I am still needing to get a set of forks for the front. Was debating about getting a set of Payne Forks. Anybody have any comments about them? Will really need them once I start framing.
