Gotta say that removing the bushes will not only make it look better, but they were keeping a lot of moisture on the house as evidenced by the green on the clapboards. Removing them and getting some sun on the house should make the siding last a lot longer.

Your daughter and my 21 year old son should get married. They would make the perfect happy couple. He doesn't like manual labor either. He said that he will make enough money when he graduates from college to hire people to do any manual labor that needs to be done. More power to him. When the sh-t hits the fan someday he'll be screwed. He won't know how to wipe his arse by himself.

My son's first and second cars were both BMW's, although used ones. He's got the mindset to be among the rich and he is a go-getter. He moved off campus and rented a house with 4 women. He manages the house and decides who can rent a room when there is an opening during the summer when schools out. He is a very smart individual. In high school he had this really pretty well endowed girlfiend. He dumped her because she was not up to par to his standards. He said she was a dope. All she wanted was to get married and he wanted to move away to go to college.

Maybe he'll be running the overseas division as he is taking International Business at school. Presently he is a salaried worker for a non profit in D.C. full time for the summer. They work with trying to pass laws in Washington to help small businesses. My son is like my wife, very business smart and my daughter takes after me, not afraid to work and get dirty.
