bush hog sq600 slip clutch adjustment????

Hey guys, I have purchased a bush hog SQ600 this week that had been sitting for over 4 years. The clutch was rusted tight! I just rebuilt it, I turned the face plates in my lathe and put new friction disc's in it. Now I need the measurement for the tensioned springs. At rest they are 1.400" long and .250 dia. + or - a couple thousands. So I need the measurement they need to be when tensioned for the proper clutch adjustment.

Manuals

look at the operator's manual for the Squealer series. No, the SQ600 isn't listed, but the chart on page 20 will show you your clutch and cutter width (SQ160). Use that info.

I have the SQ600 manual and it says spring lengths should be 1-1/4" (31.8mm).
