I used Lubriplate 105 readily available at auto parts store, half way between 140 and #2. Just fill it to the full plug and run it. After a few cycles the oil will be gone and the grease will remain. Done deal. No draining required. Or pull the drain plug on the bottom of the gearbox....or use a battery water syringe and suck it out or the red/black with the orange hoses pump doo dad that's popular.
