Bush Hog box blade and shredder

I apologize in advance if this has been discussed before. Does anyone out there own a Bush Hog brand box blade or shredder? I looked at both today at the dealer, and they looked pretty well made, especially the cutter. Prices I got were:
4' shredder - $795
4' box blade - $495

Fishman,

That's a well respected brand name. You probably need to check the model numbers to compare fairly.

But I don't know what you're talking about with "shredder". That's not a rotary cutter, and it's not a chipper/shredder. What exactly does this look like?

GlueGuy, maybe fishman isn't on here this morning, but "shredder" is a common name in this part of Texas for a brush hog or rotary cutter (and in spite of the fact that it seems most manufacturers use "rotary cutter" you'll rarely hear that name used around here).

Fishman,

I have a Bush Hog 72" Box Blade and haven't had it long but have worked it hard. It seems very well made. I've used the rippers to pull up small stumps and roots and have pulled so much dirt leveling firebreaks that I've come to a stop and dug holes from the tires in 4WD with the rear differential locked. A box blade is not a high-tech implement. It's ruggedness is primarily a funciton of the metal thickness and welds. I think the Bush Hog Box Blades are as good as any middle-tier box blade. I know you can pay more for even stronger built box blades but I don't see the need for one.
